Nothing like poking fun at the competition. Some people would maintain you must be desperate for something really interesting to say if you have to resort to mud flinging, but this sequence of ads from South Africa was amusing.

It was rounded off by a totally arrogant stance from Bentley, showing the Chairman doing the “up yours” sign – which I’ll save you having to tut at.
For me, being a non-car type, the spitting sequence proves one thing (especially as I would expect more inventiveness from so-called ‘creatives’): not only are car companies filled with boys who never stopped wanting to play with their toys, they still go ‘ner-ner’ in the playground, and get their advertising agencies to ner-ner too.
