I notice that Henkel, despite being so big (and surely employing thousands of native speakers of English) has not yet worked out how to formulate wording in a “culturally appropriate manner”.

No. Instead we have the equivalent of “You are not allowed on this page. Go away.”

  1. This also suggests a whole new genre of copy for websites, doesn’t it? Rather than quickly explaining to the reader what the page is all about, we use the space to tell them what it isn’t about.
