Supermarket segmentation

A call to retailers: give your customers more hassle-free shopping! No I haven’t been drinking coffee. No I’ve not got anything against old people. Just today, as a working man, it finally dawned on me.

I traipse off to the supermarket to do the shopping and there’s nothing but glue-kneed geriatrics plodding around. One of whom, in a blatant case of zimmerframe-rage, just went straight at me as if I was invisible (which, unshaven, I can assure you I wasn’t).

So, despite the new German equality laws (‘General Equal Treatment Act’), I think someone should set up a supermarket where OLD PEOPLE WOULD BE BANNED AT THE WEEKEND. After all they can go shopping during the week!

Of course the only way to wangle this would be to charge 10 euros entrance fee for everyone. With a special “working person’s discount” on Saturdays (ignore Sundays, all German shops are shut anyway). And a special “pensioners’ discount” during working hours.
