Well, some product manager was obviously slightly challenged in thinking up a name for this product. Perhaps, so involved in the product world, benefits, consumer needs, USPs and competitive positioning, everyone involved - from R&D to the packaging designers and marketing department - forgot to stop and ask themselves, “Could this descriptor possibly have another (naughty) meaning?”

Dear Aveda, in the UK it does. Hand relief is used much in men’s prisons. Though sadly (for your sales) this probably does not involve your product. Or maybe this will be the export giant.

But well done for trademarking it (ever wondered why it was so easy to copyright the name?)
